The brothers, Stian and Steffen Dyre Hansen, have for years discussed and dreamed about starting their own company. After 15 years working in leadership roles in Norgesgruppen and Mercuri Urval, they completed Executive Management Program at INSEAD focusing on Strategy, Innovation and Leadership. The theory of Blue Ocean Strategy has been a great contributor to the creation of The Assessment Company AS. The business idea is based on two important aspects; differentiation in positioning towards the sector in general, and uniqueness through innovation in products and solutions.

When establishing the company important questions were:

  • Can we find a way to evaluate candidates who have far greater validity than those already in the market?
  • Can we in addition to using the best practices in the industry to develop a concept increasingly considering skills?
  • Can we develop a method of training and development that has a better effect and providing faster results for our clients?

Today, our key clients are resourceful companies with professional mindset in relation to see performance and potential in others, and looking at human resources in the context of the overall strategy.
