Bente Kristin Malmo has many years of international experience in HR, management and organizational development within large public projects, finance, offshore, events and consulting. In addition, Bente has been an entrepreneur in knowledge management, where she established a concept and a company that in 2012 was sold to an oil and gas service company. She has worked both as an internal and external consultant and as CEO.
Bente has specialized in knowledge management and leadership training in both operational management and crisis management for various national and international clients, such as IOC, UEFA, FIFA, major international sporting events, hospitals and public companies, as well as aquaculture and international offshore companies. Together with former colleagues, she has developed a train-the-trainer concept that has been used in nine different cultures to empower local resources to train their own leaders.
Currently, Bente is heavily engaged in helping the private and public sector become more sustainable by linking their strategies and actions to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. And not least by using sport as a driving force for sustainability.
